Hello everybody.

When I give a new set of tyres (lrp 30x), y after clean every tyre, ones shine perfect, but ones not. This is important because the grip is different for the tyres that shine and the tyres that no shine enough.

Have anybody some solution¿? I think put the shine tyres on rear and the ones that not shine in the front, but this is bad because the car will understeed, and if oppoiste the car will oversteed.

Regards.

Is this with a brand new set of tyres?

They should all be shiny when new.

You should also mark each wheel so you know which corner of the car they were used on.

Yes when are news, just open the package.

Yes I always marked the 4 tyres: front-left, front-right, rear-left and rear-right.

Thank you for your help. Any idea?

Regards.

At last year's European Championship in Austria we also faced this problem, because the LRP 30X was used as a controlled tire there. But to be honest there was not a big difference between the shiny and dull ones on the track, actually the biggest difference was psychological.

But still, many people were unsure just like you. The organizer solved this by giving all the A-main drivers the chance to pick out the shiny tires from a box and thus all drivers had the same tires. So if there actually was a difference, and this is a big "if", it would not affect the A-main.

However, you had the right idea by putting the shiny ones in the rear. If I only had one set, I would also do this, just to be sure.

May be a defect of the tyre.

At the beginning of this year I had this problem, but where 2 tyres shine, and 2 tyres no shine. Obvious I put the shine tyres on the rear, and other in the front, and my car caused oversteed. This means that tyres no shine have more grip. I used on stock class and on carpet.

It is very curious this problem.

Regards.
