XRAY - Model racing cars

First of all, let me just say coming from a bunch of other cars (HPI, Traxxas, Tamiya, Kyohso etc), mainly driving large bajas these days, I have to say both Xray and Hudy have such a solid professional, well built car and tools.

I have driven my xray T3 2012 only a few times (about 15 minutes)...what a performing car. I drive it mainly in parking lots so my ride height is a bit over 6mm right now. I am tuning the car by eye mainly and have a quick gauge and also use the adjustment gauge for height. I want a setup system but don't want to spend all of the money on the hudy. Any other reccomendations so I can get my feet wet before I shell out all of the money on the hudy?

You can't ask for foreign products on a manufacturer's forum. But for me it's Hudy, indeed. There are different ones, also good ones but no better ones. And the other good ones cost pretty much the same. There are cheaper ones but sometimes even without ballbearings and/or they get bent by just falling > trash.

The Hudy is the best.

If you are looking for cheaper alternatives you could look at 3racing, yeah racing etc.

A friend has the 3racing and it seems very well made but requires the use of tools to assemble.

thanks everyone. I"m all for xray/hudy. I have almost as much in hudy tools now than my xray costs ...

whatch out for a good one on ebay, thay often come up, hudy is simply the best one

Happy Hudy day, just ordered the entire full complete setup kit.

for a cheaper option and more acurate , i use the Hudy set up wheels and the Camber guage from Hudy

This is better then the set up system i have , ifi use the wheels and set the camber at 2.0 then on the set up system it is 2.2-2.5 WIERD BUT TRUE
