XRAY - Model racing cars

Hello,

I bought mine T3'012 as an advance order at its release.
My friend bought his T3'012 last week.

We recognized that his 52mm Hudy Spring Steel drive shaft looks different than mine.
The color is a little darker but also the pin is not silver anymore, it is black.

Was there a change?
Are there other changes?

I don't know exactly but noticed that more and more springsteel parts look almost like the black alu parts now.

For instance this one here:


I like it.

Indeed they look more black than brown. I still like the look from my T2'009.

Besides the shaft the color of the pin (silver vs. black) is very obvious.

I'm not sure but all the hudy spring steel parts will be black now. The hudy spring steel had changed from the xray buggy.

A minor point, but having just built my '12, the paint comes of the black stuff, it never came off the brown stuff! My nice shiny new unraced '12 does not look nice and shiny in a couple of places!
