My RX8 is stripping spur gears I've tried lots of things but on luck
Been given lots of theories on whats wrong but no fixes any one have the same problems?
Did you find a fix :oops:

Are you sure that your gear mesh is correct? And what is your clutch gap?

Loose bulkhead screws?
Play on engine bearing or gearbox shaft bearings?
Play on clutchbell bearings?

Indeed much slip in the clutch will cause heat and that heat can make the plastic teeth of the spurs weak.
