Good morning. I am a new owner of a rx8 2014. I ask you an information expert. the body you on the new rx8 2014 what extent do the holes? or better as the cut? I would like to use a Protoform R18. Saturday I tried it with a Protoform P909 and it seems very straightforward. I would like a machine that is easier to ride and good steering. thanks |

Do you mean the mounting position of the body? I usually mount the body on 20mm - 25mm in front of the bumper, measured from the middle. the more to the front the more steering you will have, but you lose some rear grip allong with it. I use the Blitz R18 v2 which is almost the same as the Protoform P909 and 25mm is mostley used. The Protoform R18 is more stable and will produce a litle bit less steering. In that case you could use the PF R18 on 25mm with no problem. |

thanks for the reply. I asked for the PF R18 because in my opinion is the most beautiful ever to be seen in terms of stability and cleaning the machine when it is running on the track. from the feeling of being very neutral neutral. for this I would use it. I tried time ago and found it easy on shephard veloxv8. then the PF R18 to 25 mm internal or external body? thanks again p.s I mean the R18 old model and not the new v2. |

measure the outside of the body with a ruler against the bumper so you can see the number on the ruler outside the body. |
