Hello,

if I would like to try a stiffer front on the RX8 2012, should I start with the new topdeck brace/plate, the front upper alu sus.-arm mounts or with the CFK insert on the chassis' front? I think the front upper alu sus.-arm mounts give the samller effect on stiffness, right?

Thanks,
Stefan

The Carbon insert in the chassis and the carbon top deck plate will give you more rigidity in the chassis and topdeck, as the alu upper arm holders would give you more rigidity in the geometry of the front upper arms.

With my experience the biggest effect you would have with the upper top deck. this will make the front as one whole and will improve steering response, especially on high bite traction tracks.

The upper arm holders are nice to have but I think would not contribute that much on making the front stiffer because the plastic ones are tightley enough mounted on the bulkhead. with hot weather 30+ degrees it would have some effect.
