Post subject: | HELP - chassis plate problem !! |
Hi Mario and team, I have a problem with my chassis plate. All the holes measure about 2,90 to 2,94mm, but i have 2 oval holes with over 3,48mm (see picture - but bad cognisable). Is this wanted or if not what would you advise me to do ? Maybe I'm a bit fussy but I don't want a tottering servo... Anyhow it is a difference over 20% (!!) to the other holes. http://img-up.net/?up=DSC00054NWISL1R.JPG http://img-up.net/?up=DSC00064LbnQWMYQ.JPG Anyone else experienced that ? Thanks. Merry Christmas ! |

Ah, ok. I gonna use the Graupner 3781, many say the best servo for 1:12 with only 0,04sec. I don't have it yet so I don't know the exact size and if it will fit the car properly (maybe any experiences of sombody so far ??). But Krolleg, I can only tell you "anticipation is the best joy", so look forward to driving your thing. I won't be able to test it earlier than you - still waiting for some electric components... Can you guys of Team Xray give any statement to these strange "oval holes", I would be interested if they are really wanted like that... Greetz |

The Graupner: 0.04 sec@40°.... That is 0.06sec@60° The fastest so far I have seen is the Hitec 5084 with 0.05 sec@60° but it is a micro sized servo, not sure if that will fit but it has the same power as the Graupner. |

Of course, it IS a JR servo, I can only buy it here at Graupner. But that doesn't interest me whether it is Graupner or JR, main thing is it works^^ But I am still hoping to get any informations about these damn holes by Xray... won't you like to provide any information ? |

Yes, meanwhile I received a response of the Xray service team, they told me the same. But fact is in my kit wasn't this supplementary sheet. Otherwise I wouldn't have asked... OK, so now I know it, I just hope nothing will waggle. Greetings |
