hello i have bought the new x12, please could tell me some tips for the rear center pivot i mount with 1,5 mm slope + or - because if i tighten the screws more the pivot starts bindding, some information could be appreciated, thanks. one more question, whe i compress the lowwer part of king pin ( were the spring goes) the upper whisbone must lift with it (king pin) completely ?? |

i have already saw but there isn, the same sistem.. he he removing tweak from rear pivot not asemblin it!! |

finally i polished the steel balls of the links, witht water sand papar and some polishing paste an the result was awesome i posished also the inerior of the pastic part of center pivot that its in contact with the upper zone of the 5 mm alum ball, and in the bottom too in the another middle of the pastic center pivot. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hi, when building centre pivot always build and tighten screws with pivot off the car. This is easiest way to check. When fitting to the car leave screws that hold side links in place on chassis slightly loose. Then tighten each screw on pivot and side links while keeping chassis and pod straight. If you tighten side links first then attach pivot you will find the side links can be slightly off making the pod movement stiff. Hope that makes sense, difficult to explain without showing ![]() I always have a small amount of up/down play in pivot ball. Oj |
