I just finished building the X12 and I must say it is a great kit! One thing I am a bit worried about though is the spring collar for the center shock. The adjustment collar for the spring seems very loose, like it should have been an o-ring inside it to make it sit tighter on the shock housing. As loose as it is now I'm worried it will rotate when driving the car. One thing is missing in the manual. The spacer that holds the servo saver onto the servo (under the screw) is missing from the building steps. Great overal quality feeling on the car. Simple and efficcient! Cant wait to put it on the track! Cheers Edit: how about changing the Sub forum header to include the new version pan car? |

You can try and add a small amount of blue Loctite threadlock to the threads of the shock body. |

I've spent two evenings at the track now and the adjuster seems to stay in place but I think I should add some blue Locktite like you say, just to be sure. Still suspect there is a tolerance error in the adjuster though. Might be something to check in other kits for feedback to the factory. |
