Dear Team Xray, I wanted to ask if you can update the "XII link" to the new version "X12" with side tubes. I am interested in only the lateral damping system. Thank you. |

Those look like the Speedmerchant conversion. Maybe the x12 has a similar design? |

I believe the 2nd pic (Black rear pod) is one of the X12 prototypes...(look at the shock mount system)... I am still uncertain which pieces will be compatible across brands (ie. can damper tube pieces be used on other cars)... Final specs and information are currently being worked on by Team Xray and will be published to the main website once available. |

The first pic is of the Speed Merchant car.....NOT XRAY. The 2nd pic is of Paul Lemiux's car from IIC. It is all Xray and no other brand of parts. Just to set the record straight I have been testing this layout since right after the Snowbirds last year (AE was the first to try this battery layout with current cars) and made the first one myself to test. It was later that someone seen the design and came out with their own conversion to sell. The X12 is perfectly balanced when using pretty much any combination of electronics. You guys will be very happy with the new car. After just one big race in the books out of the 5 prototypes at the IIC 4 were in the A main's. Very good percentage! EA |

Hmm. Well given that Marco, I don't think you could only get the away with the side dampers and upper rear pod. It has a totally redesigned rear area. See the springs being inboard? You would need the new chassis as well. Maybe they will come out with a conversion from the xII to x12, but for the dampeners alone, I think your out of luck. |

Don't know if you saw the announcement Marco, but I don't think there could be a conversion. The rear bulkheads are different, axle, and the front arms are a new harder material. So what you could keep over from the old kit would be.. Screws? Diff Balls? |

Conversion set will not be available as there are too many new parts and the set would be expensive. |
