Post subject: | Shock absorber length |
Hi, Anyone knows any recomendation from Xray about the lenght of the shock absorver for Nt1 aluminium shocks? Are the lenght really important or the most important thing is the importance of being all equall? Do you guys use different lenghts for front and rear? Any team drivers opinions would be great also. Thank's a lot, Ricardo |

Post subject: | Re: Shock absorber length |
Hi, I use the rear shocks just like the manual specifies, leaving 1mm of thread, like grub says and the front shocks without that mm. At the rear you need that spare mm in order to the suspension to allow all downstop adjustments, while in the front there is not such a problem, the length of the front shocks is more than enough. Basically running the front and rear shocks differently is due to my experience with electric cars, where many of them use this kind of configurations. Just something I like doing in my nitro car. Hope it helps, Cheers |
