Post subject: | Ventilated Disk Brake |
Guys just got the Vented disk brake and installing onto lightweight adapter, I just realised it is really tight, I actually have to force the disk onto the pins. Is this normal ? |

I also have the ventilated disk and the lightweight carrier that came on my EC version and the disk moves freely on the pins... Something seems to be wrong with your disk... |

I have already tried both ways an non worked, I used the new lightweight carrier I had as a spare and the light weight I had on the car, then used the original carrier that came with NT1 before EC version and they all came very tight. It is so tight it is a chore just to get it off the pins. |

At this stage I think you should email Xray directly to get some advice as, in my experience, it's unusual to have any quality problems with their components. In the meanwhile you'll have to open up the holes. Maybe you will let us know how you get on, good luck! |
