Post subject: | NEED SOME HELP!! |
FIRST, I'M ALMOST ADDICTED TO THIS STUFF. I'VE HAVEN'T BEEN INTO THIS HOBBY THAT LONG ENOUGH TO TRY DIFFERENT SETUPS, AND DUE TO THE KIND OF JOB I DO...I AM LIMITED TO JOIN AT EVENTS THAT ARE HELD IN MY AREA. LET ALONE, I HAVE TO DRIVE MILES AND MILES AWAY JUST TO GET TO A NICE TRACK. ANYHOW, CAN SOMEBODY EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES/DISADVANTAGES OF RUNNING THE FOLLOWING SETUPS: - SOLID AXLE - ONE WAY AXLE - ONE WAY OF THE THREE, WHICH ONE WOULD BE GOOD TO USE ALL AROUND? THANKS... |

Well Dragont, you sure scream a lot (don't use caps man!). I think the solid axle is the option to go for, if not using a diff. The One Way will become very unstable under breaking, it basically means you can't break. It does provide loads of steering, but brakes are needed ![]() The same goes for the one way axle, although you are able to break a little bit with that, nearly not as good as breaking with a solid axle. |
