At our last two races, the rear right wheel has come off six times (track turns mainly left). Between races I replaced, rear wheel axels and all connecting parts including bearings. That wheel just won't stay on the car. How can I solve this problem? (set-up sheet available) |

Hi, I would disagree to replace the wheel nuts regularly, except if they are not the originals. The original ones have a pattern on the inside, which sticks on the plastic wheel and prevents them from unscrew. I use the same nuts for years without a problem. Could you please check that the pin (981210) behind the hexagon is in place? |

I agree about the nuts you describe, but with a very hard rim, that doesn't work. They simply don't digg into the rim enough to work. So they you start using nuts that have a nylon thingy in it so they don't run loose, that wears out.. I think RCPower is using a very hard rim and that's creating the issue. |

I have used Hudy hard 24mm wheels with rubber tires and have had no problem but it's an interesting point you've raised Cyclops and could definately contribute to the problem. |
