I have the same problem with the new alloy clutch housing ! I am using the white shoe ! I thing some one from xray have a answer for this! |

I'd like to help you guys but I dont run the part. I think you may find the part is designed to provide an improvement in performance but at the cost of longevity. I run the lightweight metal version and I find the clutch system is perfect. |

Yes, that is how aluminium will be affected, using less slip will create a longer lifespan but with slip the surface will get rough. |

The aluminium is simply too soft to be used for a clutchbell. When aluminium reaches a certain temperature it gets soft and simply gets eaten away by the shoe. But i bet your clutch shoes last longer with the alu bell. ![]() ![]() |
