Hi guys, I wanted to ask a few basic questions and ask for your opinions/suggestions on a few components that I'm considering for the NT1 that I want to buy. Here is what I have in mind: RB engine TOURING 9 RC with 2604 in-line pipe Spektrum DX3R Radio As far as servos go, I would like to stay ONLY with JR or Futaba. What are the 2 best JR or Futaba servos that money can buy that will be suitable for the NT1? Also, I'm a little confused about the battery packs. From the pictures I've seen, it looks like the NT1 needs a stick receiver pack as opposed to a hump pack used in monster trucks... Am I correct? Would be a fairly good choice? I prefer not to use a LiPo at this time. Does the NT1 come with a body and wheels and tires? If not, is any 200mm lexan body and any 1/10 on-road wheel and tires compatible with the NT1? I remember back in 03-05, I used to have a Ofna micro fail safe on all my monster trucks. Are you guys still using these? Do I need it on the NT1? I would appreciate any help that you guys could offer. As you can probably tell by now, I'm not a racer, and I'm simply building this kit because I love building quality machines and equipping them with top brand components... Hopefully I'll learn to race it one day... I am currently an RC helicopter addict, and I wanted to build a high quality car for a change, and this will be my first RC car in about 4 years... I'm also planning to get an 808, and I will ask similar questions in the 808 forum. Thanks in advance for your help, Regards, George |
