Post subject: | Which switch fits? |
I've measured the center of the screw holes for the spot where the switch would go and it appears to be 15mm. I then searched a few online shops but they don't appear to list this measurement. Anyone have a model number for a switch that will fit? I'd like one with a charge lead as well. For those of you who don't run the switch, are you simply popping the rubber crystal cover off and plugging your battery in? That seems tough to me... |

I also agree with Roelof, best to use a Futaba connector. I haven't seen anyone at our club with a awitch. They can vibrate from the ON to OFF position |

XRay at one time sold a Receiver Switch Set Part #336060 which worked with the NT1 and could be mounted in the receiver box but I don't know if it is still available. The set included a rubber cover for protection against the elements and it could also be opened and rewired to add the charging function when in the normal "off" position (i.e. in the normal "on" position power is supplied to the electronics, in the "off" position you can charge the batteries). I have used this switch in our NT1 in the above modified configuration with absolutely no problems for a number of years. |
