On P28 Instruction Manual, http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/showfi ... le_id=3576 9.2 ± 0.1mm adjust with shim behind flywheel But on Setup Book P24, http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/showfi ... le_id=3577 9.0 ± 0.1mm adjust with shim behind flywheel 1) which one should I follow? 2) does is have to be accruate to 0.1mm? Thanks in advance! |

The shimming there will give a rough pre-setting of setting up the gap, just build the clutch and see how it comes out, if the gap without shimming on the top-end is to small then you must take away a shim from behind the flywheel. If the gap is to big you can always fill it up at the top-end but then it is better to place an extra shim behind the flywheel so there is not a lot of shiims needed on the top-end. |
