The 0.8 system has introduced the possibility to run every couple of pinion/gear you want. So you CAN do it without any technical trouble. Off course if you run a very short 1st (f.i. 15/60) with a very long 2nd (23/54) you'll have a loss of RPM due to excess of gap. Several times in straight tracks I use 17/23 (six teeth of gap) and if you have a good engine (especially at low RPM like Picco are) there are no problem at all. |
