Post subject: | Gear diff vs One Way |
I tried the Gear diff vs One Way and notice I get more control on steering with Gear diff. Does this make sense? I run 80k oil front and 50k oil rear, all settings the same. Secondly, does it make a difference if I use 25 vs 26T pulley in front with gear diff vs one way? I was surprised that gear diff has better control since I expected the other way. Is this because my cornering speed is probably lower? Cheers again. |

Usually the diff makes the car very easy to drive with good control of braking. One way makes the car more agressive with more steering but is little more difficult to drive becuase you can not brake. Therefore, one way is very good for high traction, open tracks. What do you mean by control? More steering or easier to turn? In my opinion pulleys have the same effect on the car handling for diff and one way. |

i found the gear diff to also be better than the solid for most tracks i race at. the solid has too much power to the front,t he gear diff gives better turn in and has the stability of the solid on all sectors of the turn. soild is good if you want to drive very aggresive and throw the car around, also good for very high traction, but the gear diff up front just handles better and turns in better on every other condition. i've never tryed the oneway but i might do it next clubby along with a locked oneway (ie mutli diff minus the pin, but the internal locking device still installed) |
