I think the gap between clutchbell and clutchshoe depends on the characteristics of the engine. I mean if your engine is great at low rpm (like Picco are) you have to charge more the spring and reduce the gap. Otherwise if you have an engine which is great at high rpm (like Orion for instance) you have to soften the spring and increase the gap. For the problem of spur and pinions, read the gear ratio table, and you'll find that changing three teeth of spur il like changing 1 tooth of pinion ... more or less |
