Here are the corrected specs: Front Shocks Softer damping - Thinner - More holes • More steering into the corner. • Less stabile. Harder damping - Thicker - Less holes • Less steering into the corner. • Easier to drive. Rear Shocks Softer damping - Thinner - More holes • More traction. • Less steering. Harder damping - Thicker - Less holes • Less traction. • More steering. ALL Shocks (F+R) Softer damping - Thinner - More holes • Overall less steering but better for bumpy tracks because car better absorbs bumps. Harder damping - Thicker - Less holes • Overall more steering but car is more sensitive and not good on bumpy tracks. |

Post subject: | shock damping question |
The Standard front shock damping is 600cst with 2 piston holes is slightly hard for my local track, track is a bit bumpy. I feel the damping is too soft for 600cst 3 holes. How do I get the setup for the shock where the damping is in between. 500cst 2 holes? Is there a chart to refer for damping level with corresponde to the no. of piston holes and shock oil combination. |
