Post subject: | What options are recommended / have been purchased |
Hi I was just wondering what options for the NT1 people are thinking of purchasing out of the ones that have been listed so far in the product catalog for this car I was personally going to get the Alloy Wheel Hexes, CVD Driveshafts and the rear adjustable anti roll bar to start with - This was mainly to beef up the drive train, and give some more adjustment to the rear bar like the front one. After the wallet has recovered, I was going for the light option, with the clutch, flywheel and brake adapter Is there any recommendation from the team drivers, on what extras they have used (if any) and where the hard earned is best spent - Of course I know that I will need extra gears Thanks Damo |

Maybe it is better to drive the car and setup the the car to what you like before buying optional parts without knowing if you realy need them. |

I had the privilege of looking inside a team driver pack a few days ago, which has the first set of upgrades for the team drivers/prototype testers. It has a new clutch shoe of a new material and a carbon fibre battery cover which is not only more rigid and maybe fractionally lighter, but looks fantastic too. Are Xray planning CVDs? Anyone know? |

Thanks for the posts.. Good to hear that I am not to far off the general thoughts so far Roelof - Normally I would do that, but the thought of a nitro car with plastic hexes and dog bones (like my old Schumacher R12 Fusion which was a nightmare) disturbed me, especially when the T2 comes with them as standard. What was interesting was Foxy42s post about the team kit so far - The Carbon Battery cover is supposed to give more flex and I had seen the clutch listed in the catalog, Perhaps this is where the wedge should be going instead Damo |
