It is said that it is a good idea to CA the edges of carbon fibre parts. I have my own opinions about it (that basically it is not really worth it), but I would be very interested to hear if any team drivers or other experienced racers believe this is a worthwhile endeavour.

it stops delamination and more so on an ic car fuel getting into the carbon plate and causing delamination

my advice is al ways do it

Wet-sand the edges of radio plate and shock towers (~400 grid sand paper) and apply CA glue with q-tip. I sand it in the sink under running water, then let the parts dry before applying CA. If you do it dry, wear face mask so you don't breath the dust.
