what do you need after you buy the nt1?

you need:
1) Motor
2) Pipe with manifold
3) 2 Servos
4) Starter Box
5) Receiver
6) Radio
8) 5 cell flat Battery pack
9) tyres
10) body shell
11) fuel
12) glow plugs and ingiter
13) a few tools..

Errm......... some good driving skills?

I think alot of the guys are running the car stock, straight out of the box.

Is the complete upgrade kit for my 1st gen. NT1 worth the investment? I'm pretty happy with the setup on the car now. With the upgrade kit, what characteristics does it change? Thanks, Nick A

hello there,

i would say Durability and more run time with less maintenance since all the main changes are made to strengthen the car as you can see, CVDs all around, aluminum shocks, V2 suspension parts (eventhough the stock ones are unbreakable), new fuel tank (better seal) i changed 2 on my NT1 in 2 seasons. belt tensioner posts, old one is not very good.

now is it worth the investment?? its your call. it wont change how the car reacts on the track but it will defintly boost the durability of the car. i think its worth it since durable car = less worries during races = less mechanical faliure = bring home the trophy

one more thing, i wont be feeling good runing my car and knowing that a newer version is out there :roll:

I heard that there will be a european champion version which would include some lightweight hopups.

Maybe after that, we will see a new concept but who knows...

I recently assemble an NT1 spec 2009 EC...
First impressions: High manufacturing quality, complete instruction manual, several optional parts included.

What "I would like to change" ? The notches of the upper bulkheads (Fr & Rr).
It’s a bit "difficult" to adjust the tension of the belts because the notches are placed inside the bulkheads and it is difficult to see them.

PS: What is the utility of the wider bumper?
I think that in case of an accident, the wider bumper will carries the force of the impact to the chassis...
