Does anyone know what s the difference between a hard diff oil , let s say the new 500000 and 1000000 "HUDY" diff oils and the putty one with the code name hd45 or hd 70 from "RIDE"...? is there any comparison between them ? what are the advantages and disadvantages betwwee the one use VS the other? |

The putty is inconsistent since it heats up and can separate inside the diff, causing it to fail. A very hard silicone oil such as the new HUDY one is more consistent (it is a fluid and not a rubber material like the putty) and will never cause diff failure. |
