Post subject: | NT1 Hard to control |
Hello, I'm italian and i have a problem with my nt1, the car is unstable and oversteering, really hard to control specially during off-power steering and in chicanes, when I'm on-throttle and in a normal corner is good, I use this setup: Short wheelbase, widht 198 front, 199 rear. Diffs: Front 60.000 rear 30.000 Shock absorbers: Standard springs, 2 holes, 600 oil in every shock, the position is the lowest. Roll center: Front -1.5 rear -1.5 (Front lower position, rear lower position). And the other things are basics. Thanks for your help, and sorry for my english |

Hi... You can try with Long wheelbase on the front that makes the car easier in corner entry. Harder differentials' oils expecially on the front. Most of people run with a set of 150.000 (or higher) on the front and 60.000 (or 80.000). Harder oil on the front should make the car easier to drive in fast chicanes. You have 600cSt oil in the shocks but how many holes opened in? Try with a 1 or 2 holes opened on the front. And... you forget the downstop setting. So before to touch anything try to set the rear downstop value to 5 or 6 and you will feel that the car is very very stable when you are under braking. Try and let us know hos is the car |

Thanks for your answer, I use 1-4 donwstop settings and i will try 5 or 6 rear. The holes in the shocks are 2 in front and 2 in the rear, I will make 100.000 oil in the front diff (It is the tickest i have) and 60.000 or 80.000 rear. I'm going to the track this saturday and i will explain how will be the car, by now thanks for your help ! |
