hey we are getting close to the 2012 are the nt1 model going to change or is going to remain with the same name and specs 2011 nt1 and 2010 WC nt1? 1. which is the main reason of the brass weight on the 2011 nt1 chassis?, does it makes run car better or is just a roar and ifmar rules? 2. is there going to be a 2011 WC edition now with the brass option chassis? 3. does is better to be above or below the 1700g? |

As close as the minimun you are much better. You'll have less mass and therefore the car will run faster and have less fuel consumpion. Nevertheless you have to take into account that the minimun EFRA weight is 1700g if you run underneath this weight you will not pass technical inspection. If you are using LiPo batteries you will probably forced to use the brass battery plate in order to compensate weight. Brass plate with standard NiMH battery will go up to 200g more or less...that's too much weight. You can perfectly use LiPo with carbon plate if you are using the 30g weight mounted behind the battery or the brass motor mounts...that will be fine Fact is that a lighter car will have quicker response |
