hello, I am a French pilot, and I have a little trouble finding a good base, especially with the wheelbase ... I was wondering if you had a good basis to advise me that I could use on French tracks? |

Normally we use the long wheelbase for high speed tracks and short wheelbase for technical tracks with many hairpins. |

thank you Alex. Otherwise, I see on many set-up of top drivers that the roll center of the nose gear "medium low", is this the best configuration? Actually, I want a good set up base that happen almost everywhere, and around which I could turn ... I do not see a set up that looks like your in France, that is why I prefer to seek guidance from good drivers like you. |

By the nose gear do you mean the front upper roll centres? I tend to use those in the medium high position for starters. If I need more on-power steering, then I will go for a lower position. |

yes it's good that I wanted to talk ... In France everybody drives with the short wheelbase, and I was wondering if you could recommend a good set up base with that wheelbase. I also ride in electric steering level and therefore I love cars that much turns without lifting the rear axle. I hope you can advise me a good foundation around which to evolve. |

Please try this set-up which has the short front wheelbase: xform/index.php?act=view&ID=1509&setup=nt1 |

Hi Remi, a very good starting point is using the basic set-up that the car includes, with very subtle changes. I use the lowest possible position in the front shock tower and instead of 600cst, 400 with light purple spirngs. I also change the ackerman position. Use AD in the fowardest position. The rest remains the same (roll center, long wheelbase, etc...) when I get lost with myy car's set up I always go back to this starintg point and it works pretty good. Cheers |
