When setting the downstop and then connecting the shocks sometimes the downstop setting changes slightly. Should the length of the shock be corrected so it doesn't change? thanks |

Yes. Should should be around 65mm in length from memory. Adjustable pistons can sometimes play havoc with shock lengths... I'd recommend putting fixed pistons in the shocks. Cheers Andrew |

Hello, here in Italy more top drivers use to put on the rear shocks the ball joints that comes in the 308330 frame. The manual says not to use the longer ones but I think that on the rear is better to use the longer ball joints to avoid the problem you said. However I see that the problem esists when you go around 3mm downstop at rear and it is such uncommon to go with that values. Usually we use 5 or 6 hope to be usefull Niko |

Ok, tried to get them to 65mm and not gonna happen. The ball cup bottoms out on the shaft. I wonder if there is a difference in length from a adjustable to fixed piston? I got them down to 66mm and everything is ok when using 4 or 5 on the downstop setting. Ive never gone higher or lower so I should be fine. |
