Which one is better? Could you tell me the differences between them?? I have tried both and the only diference that i can find is that the plastic ones are a lot easier to assemble and bleed properly compared to the aluminioum ones.

I really like the plastic shocks over the aluminum ones for the very reason you just described. Its just easier to bleed them and get the rebound just right.

Also, I really like the action between the body and the piston, its much smoother than with the aluminum body or at least in my experience.

Some people claim that the plastic bodies help keep the oil cooler since the heat transfer is less and therefore the change in viscosity is lower.

Hope this helps.

Both of them have their pros and cons.

Aluminium tend to transfer more temperature to shock oil so if you race with very hot temperatures this can be something to take into account. On the other hand plastic shocks are less reliable and in case of a big accident you migh break one and have to retire. With aluminium this will not happen.

As for the rest, basically they are the same.
