I hear some people having problems with the light weight diff parts and some do not. Any pros or cons on the subject. |

The only minus to using the plastic gears is durability. They do give an increase in performance due to the reduced weight, but if your someone who taps the boards or gets in bobbles with traffic a lot then you will run into issues with destroying your diffs. Also if you're replacing the gears in a used reg diff with plastics, make sure to also replace the shims. |

Using the aluminium corss shafts is fine, you reduce weight and improve performance. Plastic gears have a high risk and really I prefer reliability. I mean, you aren't going to lower even in .2s your lap times just because of the plastic gears. You might get some extra time from you fuel tank due to less inertia. It would be very unlucky to break plastic gears in the first race, having them brand new, but as times gos by risks are higher. Really from my personal point of view steel grears just work perfect |
