Hi all,

Is there a chart for which pinions to match which spurs??

I have just gotten my NT1 recently and it is currently using 16/21 and 58/53.

Is it a good matching combination?

After reading through the forum, i still cant really understand which pinions to match which spurs.

Please kindly advise.

Xray provides a Quick Reference Table with your other documents. On the reverse of the Table there is a Gear Chart which gives you the gear ratios for any combination of spurs/pinions, depending on whether your are using a 25T or 26T mid-side pulley. You need to experiment at each circuit with the gearing in order to get adequate torque (punch) out of the corners without compromising your straight line speed. Please note, there was an error on the original gear chart (25t table) where the ratios in the 17T and 18T pinion gear columns for the 58T to 60T spur gears were incorrect. The chart available on the Xray web site has now been corrected.
