Post subject: | Flywheel pins get out of place |
2 of the 3 pins of my flywheel are out of their place and come in contact with the bell. The bell is injured and probably my centax does not work properly. I moved them backwards but after one day of practice they were again out of place. Is there anything I can do to make them stay at their place?? Thanks! |

This is interesting. Which flywheel are you using, ie Stock, lightweight, dynamic or other? |

I am using the High dynamic clutch. I am a bit worried about all this because the bell is also worn because of the pins and I am afraid I will have to change it WHEN I solve the flywheel problem... Has anyone else noticed something like that?? |

We don't have high dynamic, however, I would say that it unlikely that you can cure this problem because the pins would be a force fit into the flywheel so you probably need a new flywheel and bell. |

I am afraid you are right. But this solution is a bit expensive so now I tried to press the holes with my pliers and try to make them a bit smaller so that the pins stick in them. I am now really optimistic about this solution but I wanted to try ![]() Does anyone have any other solution that I could try? |

I hope you succeed but I doubt it will work. As the flywheel is alloy and the pins are steel, I guess that the flywheel is probably heated and the pins inserted so that, when the flywheel cools, it shrinks onto the pins. That's my logic but hope your DIY works |

the use of a good strong "red" loctite often cures this |
