Hi i was wondering if there is any way to clean the tank and filter inside or should i just get i new tank. I was having problems where my nt1 would run good for like a minute then it would die and it wouldnt start unless i let it sit for awhile. I thought it was the engine so put a new one in and it did run to well were both engine should be excellent condition. The tank seems clean and i have never let gas sit inside it and my gas was new so tht shouldnt be a problem. Can the exhaust system be a problem also cause doesnt it put presure back into the tank? thanks |

It can not hurt if you have a spare tank. If you do not have one just get one and give it a try, sometimes the cap will get an air leak. Exhaust could be the problem as well, it is providing the pressure and so acting as a fuel pump. Sometimes a small piece of rubber of the seals will tear off and wander arround in the exhaust sometimes blocking holes. Also check the seals in the exhaust system if there is no leak. |
