Most people make the servo wires shorter, some servo's have to long wires, some brands do deliver just servo's with a 15cm wire. Yes, you have to bind up the wires somewhere, most of it can be pushed away in the receiver box where I would not put the transponder. You have to mount the transponder away from the electronics, if not you can create glitches... I know some who mount it in the front bumper. |

Yes, just plug the wires in to the corresponding socket on the receiver and put the receiver in the box, with most of the modern receivers you can put the remaining wires in the box as well. Just make sure none of the wires can hit the ground in any way and that the wires aren't bend too tightly. Otherwise this can lead to shortcuts or inner wire damage. The personal transponder is this: It registers your laptimes when you are on a track with a timing system. You can mount it on top of the radiotray, there are two holes for it in the steering servo mount, or you can mount on top of the front bumper. The on/off switch can be mounted in the cover of the receiver box, you will need the small xray switch for this. |
