Hi, overfilling the diff is never a good idea. Best way to fill de diff in order to have it perfect is as follows. 1. put silicon oil without the satallite gears. Fill up to 1/4 of the diff case. 2. Once you are done introduce the satellite gears and fill until you cover the shaft. 3. Leave rest so that the air can come out. 4. Take the bevel gear from the diff case and put it on top of the satallites. This way you´ll see if there is any oil excess en which case it will drain through the bevel gear hole. 5. Clean that excess and put the diff cover. If you do it like this, you´ll have the diffs perfectly filled. Moreover you´ll have them perfectly the same every time you change the oil. Cheers |
