when buying tires for the NT1, do i get the ones with 1 degree offset or not??

If you have no problem on buying offset tires frecuety then there is not a big deal.

Mostly that kind of tires aren't as popular as normal tires therefore most of the people use 0 offset tires.

In terms of performance there shouldn't be a vast difference between both of them.
