anyone know how to get that bearing out? I have two lightweight carriers that need new bearings and I don't want to spend $30+ to replace them.

You can tap it out by using a socket and a small hammer.

I use a size 6 (metric) socket for removing the bearing and a size 9 for refitting the bearing.
The size used will differ with the brand of tools you are using, I used Snap-On 3/8 sockets.

Before changing I heat the carrier with a heatgun.
Just make sure you are only hitting the outer race when fitting the new bearing.

Also properly support the carrier while changing the bearing, for removing I use a socket which has a slightly larger inner diameter as the outer diameter of the bearing.
If you don't support it properly you risk buckling the carrier.
