when cutting the fuel tubing for

1. pressure line; and
2. fuel line

what is the preferred length of each...is there an ideal length???

1.For the pressure line I have a 124mm tube. In any case having a longer tube will give you an easier carburation (a more stable air pressure).

2.A 95mm tube on the fuel line.

When you cut the tubes you just have to think about the engine.
Longer tubes mean that the engine has to push a lot to make air/fuel flow. The best is to have the shortest fuel/pressure lines possible.
Just pay attention not to shorten the pressure tube too much because it can cause you some instability in the carburation

There is no ideal length. The longer the line the less pressure will come into the fueltank. It is a way to play with but if the pressure is to low you will get tuning problems. A more constant pressure can be reached with a pressure chamber.

You can get a more stable tunning when using an exhaust gas cooler in the back pressure line, and if it works well you even can get several seconds runtime extra.
