Hello Guys

I have the Old Chassis 2012 Specs. The Aluminium Shocks are real bad. Is not possibel to adjust correct rebound. I have try all but is not going. Now i use the plastic shocks. But is very special. All the other Cars ( Mugen, Serpent ..... have alu shocks. And the luxury car Xray have alu shocks that not works ???? What for Shocks use the top drivers ?? I have see balestri use in his Car Kyosho Shocks this works very fine.

Are the alu shocks from the 2013 Chassis better ??? Are easy to adjust the Rebound ??

Thanks !

Patrick

The shocks are easy to adjust when you use the right method. Make sure that the membrane "sits" into the shock so that all excessive oil is removed before you screw on the top cap. And be sure to frequently change your shock membranes. The 2013 shocks are easier to build than the old ones!

Thank you Alex !

Is better to use the alu shocks in the 2012 Chassis or is better to youse the new shocks with the new shock towers ? What do you prefer the adjustable shock or not ? I think is better to use the non adjustable. But now i use the plastik shocks with adjustable shock piston.

For me is better to have a minimum of rebound so the springs works better.

Thanks !

I don't like the adjustable pistons since I feel that I don't have complete control over my damping. But that's a personal preference.

For the 2012 car I always used plastic shocks since I felt that they were more free in the bottom seal compare to the aluminum ones.

For the 2013 car, the aluminum shocks works perfectly.

We usually use very little or no rebound in the shocks. This rule applies to the old shocks as well.
