Post subject: | Truck sits too low. |
My truck sits WAY too low, I just redid the shocks, there was no binding, but even with the preloaders when I push down on the truck it will stay sitting like 1/2" off the ground, but if you lift it up manually it will sit at its highest point. It has 0 rebound. I just put 32.5 wt Losi oil in it and it still wont rebound up. I finally just settled on some zip ties to futher increase the spring loading. Any ideas what I can do? |

Its mechanical adjustmant. The angle of the shock. Giving it a low angle, like the inner Shock tower mount will give you a lower ride height. So if you relocate the shock to the outer shock tower mounts you have a higher angle increasing the ride height. I think the upgrade of aluminum towers it give you 4 location of ride height adjustment. Oil in the shocks has no burden in ride height, but the rebound of action from compression. |

I put 2 zip ties on shocks and it helped, but it was a bit too bouncy so I took one off. |

Yes everything is free, and these are the better shocks than the kit ones that X RAY has as an optioon. Its a pure NT8t, with no coversion. Its not a big deal I just used one zip tie for each and it sits up higher. Now on to my ball diff situation lol |
