I just bought one, and was looking at the site around XRAY and saw some extras, for example they have Ball Diffs, I take it those are not included in the kit? Also how do the stock shocks do compared to the aluminum ones? Are the aluminum CVDs necessary? Sorry for all the questions, I cant find any places that sell hopups other than XRAYs site so far. |

plastic. I havent run into metal, somethings gotta give, the crown gear or the pinion gear. At least they have crown gears and pinion gear available. |

Depends on your location in the world ![]() All my parts need to come from overseas ![]() I'm thinking of getting some crown and pinions manufactured (alloy). Would anyone else be interested in getting them as well? (can probably get it cheaper if i get more than 2 of each made heh). I found a place that will make them (CNC of course) for me from their high grade off cuts - off cuts = $5/4kg, good alloy = $20/4kg heh. one bar of offcut would be enough to make probably 50 of these things heh. |

Hi Mark, Would it be useful for my NT18? If so, can you see if you can get some pricing (AUD$)? |

I wouldnt really bother going up to titanium for the 18. Just get alloy ones. I'm wanting to go titanium on the 18t as i've converted mine to a MT with bigger wheels. I like to bash my trucks hard, and am looking at getting the picco for the truck - so i think its going to need all the strength it can get. Custom Model Cars are the aussie distributor of xray parts: Address: 598 Forest Road Penshurst NSW Australia 2222 Ph: 61 2 95794007 Fax: 61 2 95704529. However! They charge FAR more than international xray dealers - shop around! Postage isnt that much when your getting the item half price haha. |
