1 amp is ok. battery pack rated @.700mah, not.007amps. Just keep an eye on it, go by temperature. Do not let it overheat. If your charger has capability to charge by time, 20 minute is suffiant. or trickle charge it. trickle charging usually set at .50 amps, you can leave on charge an hour. |

So you don't have to cycle the battery before using it? The battery had a sticker with the directions on how to cycle the battery before using for the first time. |

I have set my peakdetction to 4 mv in total on the pack (not 4mv for each cell) thats works perfect I´ll get around 800mah in my packs when i charge them at 0,7A |

So I should set the peak detection at 4 mv when I first cycle the battery pack? |

yep and just keep it here when charging this littel pack. If you go higher the temp of the battery will probaly get to high and that will shorten the life of the pack |

but be aware that the first coupel of times you will have a lot of false peaks. I forgot to tell you that I temp charged them the first 2 time, to avoid the false peak. you can use you ma counter you see if it´s false peak and restart charging aslong as it havent reached 700 ma |

I really dont think you need Peak detection, cuz your are lookin for run time not speed. Since your chargin' the first time. use trickle charger for 13 hrs. let stand 24 hrs, then discharge. then repeat process. Ni-Cd you can charge up to 3X the capacity. Ni-Mh you shouldn't. Two different Chemistry of battery. NiMh use 700mah or 1amp |

If your charger has timed charge, it would be nice. If not, keep a eye on it. You don't want the shrink wrap to melt, mean you cook it, or overcharge the pack. and just altered the life of the pack. Some chargers shut it self off completely went charged. |

So let me get this straight. I should first cycle the battery at .1 amps with a peak detection at 4 mv? My LRP charger only goes as low as 5 mv for peak and the CE Turbo35 GFX goes as low as .01 v for peak. Which charger should I use and how should I set the settings? |

I would use the lrp one at 5mv.deltapeak and 0,1A charge current. |
