saweet! I used my ofna 1/8th scale starter box to fire up the little nt18 no problem! I backed out the main needle 1/4 turn to run it rich and ran through one tank just fine. No stalling and no leakage from the motor. smooth crisp clean running! Stoked! How many tanks should I dog through it before driving it around?? |

3 tanks through the car now and it's running smooth. HAvn't gone above 1/3 throttle yet, and it's already going 15mph easily. I can already tell this car was a wise investment! when it's broken in I bet it's gonna haul! and after running it, it is perfectly clean still and I Can sit it right back on my desk for viewing and showing off. Very cool little car and well worth the money! Thanks Xray! I also had dreams of micro nitro cars a while back, and knew they would be coming. You guys did a great job on this little car! ![]() |

here is a few pics taken today after 6 tanks any debris you see on/around the motor is tiny rocks from the fresh paved road after the rain. no oil buildup. Although is seems my clutchbell has been rubbing the chassis, if you look close. you can click on the pics to enlarge them. if this didn't come out right, I'll fix it so hang in there =) notice there is extra holes at the end of the exhaust in the chassis! wonder if I can figure out a way to bolt the tip of the exhaust can down to the chassis to prevent it from bending? |
