Just to confirm - a standard starter box will work with this car? |

HUDY has been working on an excellent starter box for 1/18 micro cars which should be available just few days after the NT18 will ship. It will be the most premium starter box, fully CNC machined from aluminum with countersunk holes so the screws do not protrude. The starter box will come with a powerful motor and with all the internal parts specially designed to work pefectly with the micro nitro cars. The starter box will work with one standard 7.2V battery pack and it will come fully assembled and set-up for immediate use with the NT18. An excellent tiny micro starter box - a must have for serious fans. Pictures should be availabe at HUDY web site www.hudy.net shortly |

I don't have an official answer, but.... Any wheel device that can give you access to the flywheel could work... Smaller diameter wheels should work better due to the limited space for access to the flywheel... Due to the small distances between the wheels you may not be able to leave the car (or truck) on a regular starter box as (if there is any clutch drag at all) the wheels will rub on the box and potentially cause it to move, or stall out. Xray sells the car, they also sell a specific starter box for the car. Due to differences in sizes and heights of other starter box wheels, and their mechanisms, it's hard to give a blanket *yes* or *no* answer that normal boxes will work. |
