take off your on off switch, and solder some pluge on the batter wire.
I have done this on bot my nt´s, not because I use spectrum, but because the switch broke after a week on both my cars.

the reciver should never be in contact with the drive shaft at any time!!!!!!

contact can damage both you resicer engine and bearings, so its a no go b4 you correct this.

Question is to have a switch or not??? Racers in the US like me Does away with switches. One reason, you crash it accidentally turn off your radio. Pigtail on Battery pack the same plug on the switch. So connect it straight to the Receiver. Do away with switch now you got more room to mount the receiver & room from the drive shaft.

Probably using Pro Series system by Spektrum. Airtronics M8/M11 FM radio gear. Good choice!!!!

Spektrum is more than only some frequencies on a higher band.

- the receiver only works on your transmitter (identification)
- it is auto sensing and auto switching to use the best channel
- it is completly digital
- it has a build in failsafe
- uses a shorter antenna, for those who do not want one outside the body

Yes, it does use WiFi technoligy so olso I fear you could get no free channel in the middle of the citty within all those hotspots....

I just installed the new spektrum micro recvr, works great!! ...was able to mount it on top of the steering servo, and by doing so clearing out the entire area on the tray so I could mount a 1200MAH recvr pack, also was able to fit an on/off switch in there:

Try standing it up, then being flat. Just as long u still have access the the Crystal. U really want the clearence for the center shaft.

Oh so you dont have to have a Spektrum Tx? If I have an Airtronics M3X-S will that work?
