Set up board decal problem

Hi all

I have a problem with my set up board and decal. I bought these new 2 weeks ago and cleaned the board propperly and still the decal is coming off in 3 or 4 places

I have contacted the shop and have been told there is no known problems with the decals and that i should try to re glue it !!!!

I am not happy , this is the start of my Hudy set up system that i am slowly collecting when i have money for it , if this is the answers i will get from the importer then i will not buy any more !!!

Hope some one can help with this

what did you clean the board with?

Silcone free panel wipe from a car body shop

it was perfectly clean

when i do mine i also warm the board and the decal to make the glue stickier

yeah ok that maeks sense , but what can i do to make it re stick ???

any comments from Mr Hudy ?? is this a known problem ???

Hi,

I am sorry for your problem but I think the problem is in the cleaner. Maybe it did not clean the surface enough. I use Wurth break cleaner and I have never had such a problem. When you put the sticker down from the bord, it will not stick anymore. Do not use any glue because then you can damage the board surface.

Well it is getting worse !!!

The decal is coming off more and more

I am now thinking it is the tyre additive that is affecting it

this is a bad design if it is as i think 90% of racers use addaitive!!!

if i didn't clean it propperly then why do the other stickers from Corally , TeamC and Decal Designs stay stuck ????
