A few updates on the construction of Area 54 RC Raceway. Track plans and details are moving along nicely. I have quickly found out that building a track is a fulltime part time job. Some of the things that have happened recently are:
Storage container on site and painted.
Bobcat purchased to construct and maintain track.
AMB Scoring system purchased and RC Scoring Pro identified for purchase.
House Transponders purchased.
Driver stand lumber arrived. A whole flatbed truck load.
Tubing purchased
PA System purchased
Trophy/ Plaque design work
Pond Dug, and is now full with the recent rains we had. Will be doubling the size in the Spring as track contruction begins.
Driver stand construction starts 10/31/2009. Yes this weekend. The thing is going to be a monster.
Railroad Ties ordered, if anyone needs railroad ties let me know. I have some for sale. 240 on the way.
