can someone from xray please explain why my xb2 2017 carpet car comes with 67mm driveshafts instead of 68mm i was told by rc disco this is a runing update. but it limits setup where i have to limit the droop to stop driveshafts coming out of diff cup at full droop. and the part number has not changed so can not get 68mm driveshafts to fix this.seems only fix is to get narrow toe blocks and wide hex like 2018 car .but very expensive fix for a car that is less than 2 months old. |

Looking at the spec's between the 2017 and 2018 XB2 ,the shafts are at 68mm on the 2017,and 67mm on the 2018. Also the pin on the shaft of the 2018 is 2.5mm compared to 2mm on the 2017 shaft .This is done to accommodate the larger slots on the 2018 . Also note the hex's on the 2018 are now 4.5mm. |

in this case can you please post the correct base setup for the 67mm driveshafts on the 2017 car as the one in the manuel and the eos setups are not doable with out the driveshaft coming out the cup at full droop? |

Hello When you use XB2C´17 like manual says there is problem?? We use this car all last season and no problem! XB2C´18 has longer driveshaft because we have more narrow pivot holder. |

hi martin can you please explan more how you had no problem on the 17c car as your eos round 6 setup is not doable with the 67mm driveshafts and you have to limit rear shock length to 27mm not 29mm like your setup?? |

Hello, when you run so much drop you need to be sure then out drives are in very good condition. If driveshaft come out once then is very easy to out again. use little less drop in rear to be safe. |
